WHAT
IS BIOPTRON LIGHT?
 The BIOPTRON Light Therapy System is a worldwide
patented light therapy medical device with a specific
optical unit emitting light that is similar to the part of
the electromagnetic spectrum produced naturally by
the sun. The BIOPTRON electromagnetic spectrum does
not contain UV radiation!
Our body ages prematurely
when lack of oxygen, illness or
general wear and tear prevents cell regeneration. The
gentle light rays contain no damaging UV or IR rays. The rays
penetrate to underlying tissues while no heating of the

CHARACTERISTICS
OF BIOPTRON LIGHT
POLARIZATION
BIOPTRON polarized light waves move (oscillate) in parallel
planes.
This method of irradiation allows each wavelength (colour) to be
delivered
individually to the treatment area offering a wide spectrum for good
results
Polarised BIOPTRON Light is produced by the reflection of light
on a specially
patented, multi-layer mirror (Brewster’s mirror, named after its
creator).
BIOPTRON Light has a high degree of polarisation
It has been scientifically proven and confirmed in practice that medical
treatments using polarised light give exceptionally good results.

Light rays move in parallel plains and are incoherent (see incoherent
below)
POLYCHROMY
BIOPTRON Light is a polychromatic light. This means it contains
multi
wavelengths (unlike laser light which is mono wavelength) Bioptron emits
visible light and a near infrared range. The wavelength of BIOPTRON
Light
ranges from 480 nm to 3,400 nm. The BIOPTRON electromagnetic spectrum
does not contain UV radiation!
INCOHERENCY
Unlike laser light, BIOPTRON Light is incoherent, or out-of
phase light. This
means that the light waves are not synchronized and the wavelengths move
parallel and independent to each other to emit constant low energy .
In the illustration you can see the key difference between the
light from a
laser (in red) and BIOPTRON Light. Laser light is coherent and
monochromatic -
meaning laser light has a single wavelength and colour. The waves are in
phase
with each other and their energies unite. This results in a very high
energy level
on the spot to which the laser beam is directed.
In contrast, BIOPTRON Light is incoherent. This means that every light
wave
oscillates independently with its own wavelength and amplitude. Their
intensities
are not united, so every light wave transmits its own energy, which is low
but
constant.
LOW ENERGY
 BIOPTRON Light has a low constant energy density
and
therefore acts in a natural way. This quantity of
energy allows the light to stimulate different
biological processes in an organism in a positive
way.

HOW
DOES VIPL DIFFER FROM LASER/IPL OR LED THERAPY.....
1) Bioptron Visible Incoherent Polarised (VIP) Light Therapy
offers low constant energy for a longer period of time. It stimulates the blood and
cells for long periods (from 6-8 mins) whereas with laser/IPL the cell is stimulated
for a fraction of a second

VIP Light Therapy offers hands free non labour intensive treatments
unlike Laser/IPL
which are highly labour intensive
3)
VIP Light Therapy does not heat the tissues and it works with the body's
own reparative
and regenerative systems. There is no trauma
caused unlike laser/IPL which can be
destructive to the tissue. The addition of
oxygen spray adds to the oxygenation process;
cools the tissue; rehydrates the skin and
purifies the treatment area. This has proved
especially useful when treating burns;
injury; inflammation; skin lesions etc etc.

The treatment head sizes of VIPL range up to 250sq cm whereas
Lase/IPL is around 10 sq cm

visible spectrum

No other light system can offer this
delivery of wavelengths (480-3400nm). (we
see different wavelengths as colour)
Most Lasers/IPL are limited to one single
colour or wavelength designed for a specific
purpose. LED lights are limited to certain
colour wavelengths usually ranging from
470-630nm. Even if these wavelengths can be
combined to one single head it still falls far
short of the entire spectrum used by VIPL.
This smorgasbord of energy is delivered to the
tissues to stimulate cell bio-stimulation with
beneficial results in regeneration and repair
of the entire organism and the infusion of
