All light is measured as vibrations. We can actually see light
with the naked eye but we can only see it as colour such as the enchanting
colours of a rainbow. A rainbow occurs when the sun is at approx 42 degree
angle and raindrops are the correct size (.01-4millimetres)
Each colour of the rainbow has a different vibration or wavelength and
each wavelength is measured in nanometres (nm=a billionth of a metre). The
short waves are the cool colours of violet, indigo and blue and the long
waves are the warm colours of red, orange and yellow. Green is considered
a neutral colour. These visible coloured vibrations range from around
400nm (violet) to 800nm (red)
When scientists studied the effects of these vibrations or wavelengths on
the human body, they discovered that when it is utilised as similar to
sunshine as possible that the body responds in a positive way. By adding a
small amount of near Infra red they also achieved the maximum skin
penetration to reach the body cells to treat injury and pain.
Bioptron Visible Incoherent Polarized Light (VIPL) uses the full spectrum of the visible light rays with electro magnetic energy. Using this non invasive therapy can ease pain and heal wounds from many sources and may minimize the use of drugs, medicines and pills. The unique
characteristics of BIOPTRON Light

How does it work? Just as plant photosynthesis is stimulated by
light, the skin also reacts to various wavelengths of light.
POLARIZATION
The main feature of the Bioptron Light therapy is
that BIOPTRON
Light is polarized light: This means its waves move (oscillate) in parallel planes.
Polarized BIOPTRON Light is produced by the reflection of light on a
specially patented, multi-layer mirror (Brewster’s mirror, named after
its creator). BIOPTRON Light has a degree of polarization that reaches
95%.(see diagram above). It has been scientifically
proven and confirmed in practice that medical treatments using polarized
light give exceptionally good results.
POLYCHROMY
Another important feature is that BIOPTRON Light is a polychromatic light. This means it contains multi
wavelengths (unlike laser light which is mono wavelength) Bioptron emits visible light and
some of the near
infrared range. The wavelengths of BIOPTRON Light ranges from 480 nm to
3,400 nm.
The BIOPTRON electromagnetic spectrum does not contain UV radiation!

INCOHERENCY
Unlike laser light, BIOPTRON Light is incoherent, or out-of phase light.
This means that the light waves are not synchronized and the wavelengths
move parallel and independent to each other to
emit constant low energy.
In the above illustration you can
see the key difference between the light from a laser (in red) and
BIOPTRON Light. Laser light is coherent and monochromatic - meaning
laser light has a single wavelength and colour. The waves are in phase
with each other (coherent) and their energies unite. This results in a very high
energy level on the spot to which the laser beam is directed.
In contrast, BIOPTRON Light is incoherent. This means that every light
wave oscillates independently with its own wavelength and amplitude. Their
intensities are not united, so every light wave transmits its own energy,
which is low but constant.
LOW
ENERGY
BIOPTRON Light has a low
energy density and therefore acts in a natural way. This quantity of
energy allows the light to stimulate different biological processes in an
organism in a positive way.
BIOPTRON low energy light exerts only and exclusively beneficial

There
are 3 different sizes of Lights available. All produce the same
wavelengths. Only the sizes differ.
The larger lamps offer a wider treatment area. The smallest light also has
optional colour therapy the
effects of which are well documented.
The Bioptron Compact III comes in a convenient carry
case and has a 40mm lens. The in-built trans
former allows it to be used from 100-230V (so it can go with you on
holiday around the world). It covers
the full spectrum of 480-3400nm. The optional stand stabilizes the
unit while in operation and for ease
of use. The Compact III can use interchangeable Colour lenses
for the Colour treatment programmes,
which also use special Swiss Essences to enhance the results.
The Colour Therapy Kit comes in two sizes
for use with the Bioptron VIPL Compact III .and the Bioptron Pro1 The hand blown coloured glass lenses slip into the units
and transform them immediately into a colour therapy device. Each colour
has its own wavelength and a different effect on the body. Disturbances
in the energy fields at cellular level create an imbalance that leaves the

The Bioptron Pro1 is elegant, versatile and
affordable. It designed for use in salons ,spas and clinics or
at home. It has a 112mm lens, weighs 1.3 kg The device is equipped with an
auto shut-off 10 minute timer and can be set down to 30secs for use with its colour lenses. It has a 360 o
rotating head for ease of use. BIOPTRON Pro1 has an angled shape and is supplied with either a table stand or
floor stand to enable flexible positioning.
The larger lens covers a wider area than the Compact unit.
It is the most popular unit and can change easily from table to floor stand. It comes with optional colour therapy for accuracy of treatment and
to accelerate results.
The
Bioptron 2 is the largest unit and offers the widest treatment area. It
has a 150mm lens, 90W bulb and weighs 4.3kg. It has an LED timer which can be preset up to 95minutes for
use by hospitals, vets, physio
therapists, health and beauty clinics.
It comes with 3 different stands to accommodate different clinical uses.
